PAFID is a non-governmental organization (NGO) established in 1967 that focuses on supporting Indigenous Cultural Communities/Indigenous Peoples (ICCs/IPs) in the Philippines. It is a social development organization assisting Philippine indigenous communities to secure or recover traditional lands and waters.
A future where Indigenous Peoples fully exercise their rights to self-determination and sustainable management of their ancestral domains.

While deeply rooted in the Philippines, PAFID’s expertise has been shared across Asia through direct partnership and capacity building.
We have worked with the Garo (Meghalaya), the Adivasi (Odisha), the Tamang (Nepal), and the Karen, Shan, and Kachin (Myanmar).
Training services have been provided to NGOs and communities in Indonesia, Cambodia, Malaysia, and Vietnam.
